    Since August 1st, 1996, I have been general partner and director of internet services of Pillowrock Computer Solutions, a small but rapidly growing value added reseller (VAR) and internet presence provider in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Although a full-time honor student at OBU, I have remained active in the management and operation of the company.  As the resident "software expert" and Microsoft Certified Professional,  I am regularly consulted on difficult projects and installations, software selection concerns, and critical customer service issues.  I am the primary network administrator of our Microsoft Windows NT network and webmaster of our Microsoft IIS web server.  I am also the primary customer contact, business analyst, and consultant for several key accounts.

    The company now has two divisions, Computer Solutions and Pillowrock.  Computer Solutions provides complete computer services for small business, a single point of contact for all of our clients computing needs.  Our product and service offering ranges from hardware and software sales, training and support to network design and installations.   The primary focus of the company is on outstanding customer service.  As a result, we have built a loyal following of clients among area businesses.  Pillowrock is the internet services division of the company, providing web design and hosting services.  Our internet clients include municipal government and other government agencies, manufacturing companies, realtors, and new car dealerships.

    The company grew out of an earlier home business and bulletin board system started in Fort Worth, Texas several years earlier.  Many of the people that came to me for computer advice also asked me to get parts for them.  Never one to pass up a commission, I secured reseller accounts and credit terms.  I also ran a BBS out of my home, first as a hobby and, later, as a membership service and profit center.  The system, $ALES FORCE, ran on 16-phone line TBBS software and provided a database of sales related resources, focusing primarily on sales force automation and customer relationship management, as well as motivational and sales training material.  When I made the decision to return to Shawnee for school, I joined forces with Chris Hilditch and we moved the business to his garage.  I closed down the BBS and less than a year later, the Pillowrock web server went online.
