I've been to just about every kind of sales training available.  You can't really say that one is better than another, but there are elements of each that can be combined to create a selling system or process that is appropriate for the situations.  My personal preferences lean toward Sandler for the tactical one-on-one interaction, TAS for mapping a strategically important account, Strategic Selling for understanding the buying process.  I believe that accurate recordkeeping is critical for marketing and learning activities, as well as helping the sales process to be more efficient.  Modern computing technology has resulted is some outstanding tools.  I starting using contact management tools in the earlyAs you might expect, I have some strong opinions regarding Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) software.
